I don't think of it as fake meat. I consider it to be a source of protein that adds texture necessary for it to seem like a satisfying meal.

How can you have Vegan meat? Meat is from an animal and vegans don't eat any part of an animal.

We can call it plant based meat or vegan meat substitute too. It means that it is a fake meat, therefore vegan meat.
