Little Ones

I recently got some for my senior piggies. I know people advise to get the ones with the green underside rather than the non slip but I accidentally got the non slip so Iām not sure if what Iām saying will make a difference if you get the green bottom one. It works really well however you still need an absorbent layer underneath. It doesnāt hold and disperse urine like a cage liner does. Instead basically what happens is that the pee soaks to the very bottom to the green or non slip part and holds there. This means it stays completely dry on top but is soaking wet at the bottom. Without an absorbent layer like a liner (or maybe even some towels) underneath, your correx/cage base would get very smelly very quickly as the bottom just stays wet and essentially drips into whatever is beneath it! Hope that helps.Sorry another thing (I really need to get faster at typing so I can edit my messages in time!) With the vet bed I'm tempted to order like a 3m roll to use instead of fleece some weeks. Would this be really difficult to wash in that size and is it best just getting mats that are easier to wash?
Thank you for your time
