I managed it in 3 today on my third game, so I was chuffed, but as everyone has said there's a lot of luck involved.

Had a go at this yesterday and today, I can see why it's popular. I'm thinking a DIY on-paper version would be a great alternative to playing hangman with my son - just need some squared paper and a yellow and green highlighter as well as a pencil! And easier to keep track of the spelling than with long hangman words. In fact I bet a giant flip chart paper version would be a fun starter activity for a group... Might plan that into the next Messy Church session!

I have attempted it but not got a long way. I won't give anything away but I was rather hoping for a bit of help. I am on my third go and think I have the first 2 letters and the last one but stumped as to what the other two could possibly be!

I got it after 5 goes. There was something about the game I didn't realise otherwise I would have got it quicker. It is a word I probably use most days but spelt a different way!

Todays was really hard wasnt it, after getting the last 3 letters in place after 4 goes and almost running out of alphabet I was baffled and may have slightly cheated and googled "words that end in..." to get some ideas!

My son and I had a very successful trial in the car while waiting for big sis to finish her piano lesson. I wrote out the QWERTY keyboard for us to colour the used letters like you get in the real thing because I think it helps a lot more looking at that than just at my failed attempts!

I admit to doing like @PigglePuggle and googling. I got the 3rd and 4th letters. But then couldn’t think of any words. Then thought the fourth letter may be repeated but that didn’t make sense because I couldn’t think of a word that ended like that! That was a tough one today!

I have been doing them every day and am loving it - so simple, but so clever (the game, not me!).

It never once occurred to me to Google possible words to fit. You lot are genius. Google is usually my friend and the solution to almost any problem. Now I am going to have to resist!
