Mungo because me and the kids could not agree what to call our new baby and by the end of the first day he was with us we still hadn't settled on a name and my hubby came in and said "right, that's it" and got hold of a baby name book, he opened it randomly and put his finger on a name and we were all laughing about it but we stuck with it as its not a name we had considered but we kind of liked it, it means "most dear" and it fitted nicely.

We got Pippin and he was so hairy and even his feet were hairy and we thought he looked like a hobbit it really suits him.

Huxley -B/W abi/peru, named after Huxley Pig
Hamish - choc himi rex, the name suited him
Toddie - black fox, Todde is the old english name for fox
Maddie- choc/gold dolly mix, named because i liked it. :)

I'm a fan of jordan and family so my piggies were named after them

Jordan
Peter
Harvey
Junior - looked the double of Harvey when i saw him and they initially was cge mates
Princess - r.i.p
Katie & Andre - Jordan & Harvey's babies!

hi

my first pig was called piglet.

then i got two pigs a week before xmas and they were called autumn (she was black and white with a tan nose) and winter as she was black and it was that time of year.

fudge came next she is three quarters tan and a quarter white.

next came poppy and rosie the names just seemed to fit.

Then i adopted three abby sisters who i named vanilla, mocha and caramel as they were tri-coloured abbys and the names went with the colour of their coats.

next was phoebe i just loved the name and she was small.

last but not least was scooby doo as scooby did what he wanted and he suited the name as he squeaks loud like when scooby doo the cartoon dog does.

well I have two girls.
Harley-quinn is a black and white abyssinian, she was originally named Pebbles (first owners, second owners called her Harvey thinking she was a he) I rescued her and couldn't think of a name, but with her coloring (harlequin like) my husband took that with the name of a comic book character Harley Quinn and we kind of made a punn with her name.
Her friend Bessie, came named and we kept it, she is smooth coated with one brown and one black spot..kind of like a cow which is the reason for her naming.

Flash - because when I got him, I brought him home in a cardboard box (it was only a minute journey) and I went to get him out and he zoomed round and round and round and round the box before i caught him and put him in the cage. He still does it to this day. Even though he is almost 9 months old/39 weeks and a day (googled it) and i got him when he was 12 weeks! :o he isn't ever called this, he has nicknames :P

I got mt two piggies from a local rescue. The director is a country music fan (as am I), so their names are Chesney and Paisley. After Kenny Chesney and Brad Paisley!

Riff Raff (Riffy) - from Rocky Horror Show
Rocket (Rocky) - the vegetable, not the RHS as people often think
Toony - named after the hero in a friend's book
Cosmo (Cozzie) - No one ever calls Cozzie Cosmo, in fact I often forget that is the full name
Nigel - was named Nigel by his Aunty Louise at the rescue
Lily - named by my mum

Also:
the late Dr Atkins (Dr) - named in memory of the creator of the world's best eating plan
the late Scarbo (Scarby) - too silly a story to put here!
