as i have been told via the council today pets at home have the right to pts any animal if its ill or not sold and yes they do it them selfs in store :(

Sounds like most places that cant sell/rehome the animals. They are simply pts. Its a sad state of affair when too many silly and selfless people simply have a 'one off' litter of puppies/kittens or piggies (because theyre cute!?) and then the poor babies end up homeless. Makes me mad.

Rant over. How is the little piggie? We'd all love to know.

I was just about to say that if you buy a pet from P@H and they become ill shortly after (cant remember how many days exactly but i think it might be 2 months), you can get the fees for your vet bills back.

This is exactly what happened to a boy I got recently. I don't like buying from pets at home, but have no choice when it comes to getting some items.

I saw a little piggie on his own and the women at the shop was going on about how no one would want him because he was the runt of the litter. So I had to have him!

Anyway, he ended up having mites, and a bacterial infection, and my vets bills exceeded £100 in total! (Vets4Pets are sooo expensive). I got a refund on all the money I had spent.

I hope this isn't too late, and you now consider keeping your piggy!
