Who’s got snow? 🥶

Nothing in Leicester but we did have a bit of snow/hail yesterday afternoon that didn't settle. Not unusual for Leicester to not get anything

@Bill & Ted when my Cornish husband moved me and the children to Cornwall he gave the children's toboggan to neighbours as he said it never snows in Cornwall. Our first winter there was snow down to the high tide line on the beach and we were snowed in the village for a week! It snowed and settled just about every winter I was there (19 years). One year I got snowed in in Truro and couldn't get home from work. Luckily a co worker gave me a bed for the night!
I love Cornwall and miss it very much, especially the liquid sunshine and totally unpredictable weather.
 
Nothing here in Wiltshire. Everything frozen though - horse took one look and said ‘🥶’ as I turned him out into the field and the greedy sparrows have been through a full feeder in the past 4 hours. Piggies are somewhere in the hay. Lovely blue skies though ☀️

I hate the unpredictable weather, it’s so damp down here in winter. I also miss my North Yorkshire snow, the crisp and dry variety 🥶
On the plus side surfing, beach and beautiful sea life in summer 🐬

People here in the south think I'm odd because I love snow (when it's crisp and clean). My paternal grandfather's family since forever came from North Yorkshire (Harrogate area). I often wonder if it's something in my genes!

Just don't let on to my neighbours, I doubt they'd be happy with it :)) The heating last clicked off a couple hours ago, the door to their room has been closed all day and it's still barely above 16 in there. It's currently -2. Heating's not going to be off for a while, methinks.
 
I'm heading off to work in an hour, my local weather forecast for work is saying snow, I'll find out in 2 hours if it's snowing. Thankfully my work car is a 4x4 so I'll have no problems travelling up and down the motorway.
