Which Puppy Pads?

:DIt's okay when the weather is fine and you can hang them out on the line, or when you've got your radiators on in winter you can drape one over a radiator. But in between, it is really difficult to get them dry. I tried putting one in the airing cupboard folded up, but the unexposed areas got damp and smelly and I had to wash the thing again! :hb:
 
I get a pack of 150 puppy pads (60cm x 40cm) online on Amazon for £16.99 which is the cheapest I've found. They deliver direct to your address and the pads also come with a free pack of biodegradable dog waste bags. The company is called Vivo.

Home Bargains also have a pack of 30 pads for £4 and they are very large square pads.
B&M Bargains also sell packs of 30/40 for around the same price and they sell packs of 100 for £16.

Overall though I'd say the online pads still work out cheaper as you get 50 more pads. :)
 
:D Puppy pads are not working out for me! I am going to have to stick with newspapers!
 
Oh dear! I've only needed to use one or two every few days when I'm not using newspaper. The amount of piggies must be too overwhelming to the puppy pads? :D
 
I don't use puppy pads they don't work well with me. Instead, I put fleece under a layer of newspaper and over that shredded newspaper and more not shredded newspaper. For softness and strength and I use small paper plates and shredded newspaper for a litter box.
 
I must admit even though I am nuts about puppy pads I would love to find a way to replace them with a washable alternative - fleece liners are no good as the hay sticks to them - a shinier fabric might work (so the hay falls off) but would need an absorbent layer under to store the pee - if any one has any ideas it would be great! So really I am hoping for a fabric puppy pad which is thin enough to change daily and wash in the machine. I will start a thread for this me thinks!:lol!:
 
I have loads of cages so lucaly The guy across the road colects news papers fof me , l put them under the vetbeds

Though l beleve some multy pig keeper sorce there news paper from local librarys . And another dear old
Freiend dumpster dives (l kid you not, :shh:) she is one resousfull piggy keeper
I hope she dosent read this :oops:
