Hi, my guinea pigs currently eat gerty guinea pig food but ive read that its bad for them and they do waste the yellow and brown bits. I saw comments on other food makes but got bit confused lol :-\

I just wanted to know what food you feed your guinea pigs and if they eat it all. I'm in the uk so there maybe some feeds that you get but I dont have access to over here :)

Mine have wagg guinea pig crunch. I have tried them on various other feeds and this seems to be the one they prefer even though they still leave bits. Pigs will always eat fresh food over dry food and I think it depends on each individual pig what they like and dislike O0

my piggies will only eat rabbit pellets, we bought them once as we ran out of guinea food didnt notice, since then if i buy them anything else they wont entertain it, they throw their bowls around the cage and refuss to eat.

i think my piggie are just spoilt thou

hahah lol i love guinea pigs with character, :) shame dont think ill be able to get the wagg guinea pig cruch cause where i live we have done of those shops :tickedoff: :D

I feed burgess excel but tried scratch an newton last wek (was half price) but they prefer xcel so i'm sticking with that, they like the S+N but it doesn't go so quickly :)

I used to feed Gerty until the price kept on going up and up! I think its nearly £20 for 15kgs now!
Now my guys get Mr Johnsons or Chudleys Rabbit Royale(safe for guineas). I buy a 15kg bag and it lasts around a month.
I was looking at getting some Charnwood Hi C Pellets... http://www.charnwood-milling.co.uk/mail_order.htm its £14.60 a 20kg bag and that includes delivery.

I give mine Burgess Supa Guinea Excel pellets and Science Selective pellets - all eaten up every day. I much prefer to give the pellets or nuggets as they cant selectively feed and you know they're getting all the goodness and nutrients. O0

burgess supa guinea excel pellets, they seem to like it and they cant selectively pick :)

I give my boys Burgess Supa Guinea Excel - they really like it and it has plenty of added vitamins. Sometimes Pets at Home do good buy 2 get 1 free offers but you have to be quick as the offers don't last long. I have recently tried them with a free sample of P@H own all in one feed, mixing it in with their normal biscuits, but Angus just picked out all the Burgess and left the P@H. The others weren't impressed either.

Mine will only eat the P@H nuggets, I've tried mixing it with other stuff like Science Selective and they just pick out the P@H and leave the science selective! 98) 98)
