Which Color Pepper?

The other day I was getting my pigs some bell pepper. I was only getting them one because I was going shopping the next day. Anyway I got a green one but I was just wondering what color is best for them? I understand that all colors are good. I think their favourite is the red but they still like all of them.

Hi, apparently bell peppers have tha lagest amount of vit c out of all the veg, if you look at the
Veg nutition indicaror red peppers contain the most, followed by yellow, then green

They can have any colour bell pepper but the red has highest sugar and green the least, so guess which order mine prefer them in!

Ours like red and yellow the most. Pepper is a great food as it can be fed daily and is nice and high in Vitamin C

mine have a small amount of green pepper usually every other time we top up

Red is highest in vit c and sugar, then orange-yellow, then green is the lowest sugar and vit c (although still has a very high vit c level compared to other veg). So its swings and round abouts.

I feed a variety but make sure they have a good amount of red as its high in vit C!

Thanks. Mine eat all type so I am lucky but I think they like red best. I also love when pigs with white chins they get green or red stains and it is so cute.

mine do a very good "dribbley baby impression" when they get banana mash, strawberries have a good effect too- don't even start on brambles(blackberries)

A few days ago I would have had to say mine won't eat any, but after 10 months of persistence from me two pieces of red disappeared yesterday and today.
