Jebebr,

I've just had this with my fleece (bought by the metre off ebay for sewing fitted liners, pretty good quality).

They had a normal 30-degree detergent wash, no joy.

Normal 60-degree detergent wash, no joy.

As above, but with an extra rinse into which I added white vinegar. Better...

One more 60-degree wash, and we're wicking!

Mine were always air- or line-dried between washings as I don't have a tumble dryer. I'm going to go out on a limb and say the vinegar rinse really helped start to break it in, so if you have the same problem again, I'd try that. inbreeding

I'm currently using shavings which is borderline sawdust O_o! which has got clumps of cement/sand in it, can't complain too much when it's aimed at horses and it's £6 for 20kg.

Either way, not planning on buying it again as it's also very dusty, i'm pretty sure i'm going to end up on megazorb again which i can't really afford (i have a hamster in a 70x40) and he digs. I was looking at Aubiose but i've heard male piggies can have 'trouble' with it and don't want to put them in pain.
So far it's:
Piggies: Megazorb
Hamster: Aubiose (want something for him to chew)
I'm still researching though but that's what i've got at the moment

Yeah my husband said about the white vinger once I washed it in washing up liquid. Although don't have any white vinger to hand (just brown). I have give up on the thicker one at the moment.Justwashing and line drying the cheaper ones. Hopefully they will work. I also hope Jerry appreciates all this effort lol
