I was wondering what is the lowest temps Guinea pigs could handle? I am from Wisconsin so it gets down to 0C by mid October during the nights. The low this year was -34C, we had a few days where it was jumping around -26C. Anyways, I do not think Guinea pigs would have even a slight chance in this weather. At what temps would I have to bring them in and how could I increase their cold tolerance, maybe by adding more than one pig?
I was just throwing the idea of getting a few of them this spring and the first thing that came to mind was cold tolerance.
