I haven't got any yet :( Need my hair a little longer, but when I do straighten my hair, I use my mum, don't know which ones she has though :|

I think my mums are ceramic :|
Yup they are and cost me £80 many years ago and are better than my mates GHD ones and hers are a lot newer ;)

Hate people who can buy anything they want and not have to worry over every little penny

Debs - like I said I don't think it's fair to put that comment on here as it's not right.

I agree with Cashmincal :)

Also, it doesn't matter how much you have, or haven't, got - there's always going to be someone who is better off than you just the same as there are always people a lot worse off than you. ? I also think hate is a very strong word - I was brought up by my Dad saying that you don't hate anyone, you can dislike people, but hate is extreme :(

I've found that they're quite good on my hair, I don't seem to have many split ends but then with a 4 year old I only seem to use them if i'm going out (once in a blue moon i might add ;D) but they do work really well from wet - they sound like they sizzle but that's just the water coming out of your hair ;D I always use a protective serum though just in case :-\

I just towel dry mine when I get out of the shower, brush it put some serum on and start with the straightners. I think it takes a little bit longer than if i was just blow drying but not much (my hair is in a bob btw). It is quicker than if I was blow drying and then straightening after. I'm always pleased with how it looks after if that's any help ::)

(God, if you do buy them i really hope you don't hate them and blame me! ;D, It's like recommending a restaurant and then someone has a crap meal ;D)

;D ;D ;D sounds familiar! But then i'd probably put them on eBay after as I have the eBay bug :D

;D No, still suffering - I'm sure there's more stuff round here I don't use ....... (goes off to hunt in cupboards and under the bed ;D)

i used to have the ebay bug, packages were arriving everyday lol last year, i couldnt help
myself the thrill of having post. i'd run downstairs and into the kitchen screaming
"i got post! i got post!"

I dont think hate is the word you are looking for its jealous. Why be like that ad instantly hate someone because they are better off than you? If you worked hard in a demanding job in business or whatever you would have the same...

I am extremely lucky not to have to worry about money but I'm sure like everyone there will be a time in my life where EVERY PENNY is counted...

You dont know me so how can you hate me for being successful and having money or whatever you want to call it :-\

I do work damn fucking hard thank you very much.
And yes, it is hate.

Ive applyed for loads of office juniors jobs but to no avail. Its cos I dont have any decent GCSEs, C in English and E in Maths!
Retail seems the only way...though a lot of shops wont take me cos of my Maths skills.
I'm on 16hours a week, £86.40...its !

I resat my GCSEs at college when I was 17, got exactly the same reults (well DD in Science at school and C in Science at college). So it didnt do much use!
