I feed them hay sweet papers watermelon guinea pig treats they love they little to yogurt things they say you sould not give guinea pigs those because they are unhealthy is that true.

Pigs don't need to eat dairy products so please do not feed them!

Yes, guinea pigs are lactose intolerant and cannot be fed yogurt drops. They can be very detrimental to their health so I would strongly urge you to stop feeding them these. You could also try feeding them leafy greens like romaine lettuce, kale and spinach. There is a thread here that has all the information you need when feeding them Long Term Balanced General And Special Needs Guinea Pig Diets

My piggies eat herb, fruits and veggies.
Their veggies consist of romaine lettuce, baby spring veggies with small amount of baby carrot everyday.
Their herbs are cilantro, parsley, basil, cat grass, dandelion, and etc.
They get small amount of fruits 3-4 times a week. Yesterday they had watermelon.

today mine has watermelon

I prefer herbs for my piggies than treats from the store. My piggies grew up eating all kinds of herbs, so they always have them in their meals. They get three meals a day along with pellets and endless supply of hay.

My Finn will finish his herbs then eat his veggies. I raised my Finn with herbs from when he was a baby.
Lara came to me from a friend who didn't want her so she used to only eat pellets and hay. Currently, Lara eats all the veggies and herbs.

I've heard that the yogurt treats are bad for guinea pigs. I tried the treats once and my piggy didn't seem to like them. I would not buy them!

Your poll doesn't make sense. I could select "yes or no" but that doesn't clarify the correct answer which is an absolute no. Guinea pigs should not be given dairy. To a guinea pig you can use little bits of their veg as treats, a slice of cucumber, a spinach leaf etc

If you want to give your piggies little treats, you can buy ones which are much better for them at a pet store - something like dandelion and carrot dried balls or something like that! These should only be fed as a treat thought and not daily! Definitely wouldn't give them any dairy products like yoghurt! Mine like tomato as a treat as well :)

Go and get lots of timothy hay. Its 90% of their diet. Then in morning and at night feed some slices of red pepper. Cucumcer sliced. And some lettuce. But not iceberg lettuce. Follow this and your guinea pig will be healthy. Red peppers have the vitamin c your guinea pig has to have vitamin c. And hay is a must because it wears the back teeth down. You must give fresh hay atleast once a day. And dont give straw it had no nutritional value to guinea pigs. And top up the bottle EVERYDAY with fresh tap water. And dont keep your pigs in a hot place .
