What Are Your Guinea Pigs Names

My first piggies a few years ago were a family of 4 , mum, dad, son and daughter (though I had both boys neutered when I got them). They were all herbs, Basil and Parsley, Marigold and Lavender. My next boy was Oscar who was already named, then boys Marmalade and Nutmeg (Marmy and Nutty) who were also ready named. And now I have brothers Sage and Sorrell also already named - except that Sorrell was another Basil, so I asked the Rescue if they'd mind if I changed it - funny that I'm back with herbs again. And I know Sorrell should be spelled with only one "L" but I like it better with two.

Sorry for such a long rambling answer to you question. :)

Sorr
I've always given middle names to my piggies, current boars are:

Milo Maximilian
Cooper Jarvis
Bailey Llewellyn (was rescued from Colwyn Bay)

Past piggies are:
Bradley Marmaduke
Barney Malcolm
Rodney Rattigan (had a little ratty face bless him and I love the disney movie Basil the great mouse detective)
Sir Percival (he needed a title and lived to the grand old age of 9)
Trevor Douglas (Percy's son, passed away last Friday) :(
sorry to hear of the loss of your piggie :(

We have four boys who are completely randomly named and four girls who have a Greek mythology theme. Here they are:

Six (pronounced sees) and Athena (only ever called Athy)

Penelope (only ever called Penny or Pen or Penpen) and Cap. Penny was originally called Ginger when we adopted her, we were planning to call her Electra, then we got her home and she looked like a Penny!

Errol and Persephone (only ever called Sephy). Errol was called Chewbacca when we adopted him, we planned to call him Ares to tie in with the Greek theme, then we got him home and he became Errol!

Romano - Male

Past piggies:
Ludwig - Male
Gilbert - Male
Matthew - Male
Arthur - Male
Corey - Male
Itchy - Male (named by my brother)

We had Pitch and Putt who we named before we'd got them after playing golf. Cookie crumble, Treacle tart and The Megan were all named by the rescue before they adopted us.

Current pigs Vimto and the one I can't spell were named after prohibition drinks. Widget was with us a while before we decided on Widget, she went through a few names try outs till we made up our minds.

We have Tilly & Ginger, named by my 5 year old, he was originally going to call them Tilly & Billie, but then decided a ginger piggie should be called 'Ginger'.:D The names actually suit them really well, even though we have had them less than a day! Love some of the names here, would have loved a GoT theme, but can't compete with the request of my boys!

My first pigs were Pickle and Puzzle, then I had Petal and Smartie, then Pedro and Panda. I still have Panda, and his two wifey-pigs who are called Geraldine and Tufty.
Panda and Tufty are so named because of physical features (Panda has eye-patches and Tufty has long tufts behind her ears). Smartie got her name for being very clever. The other names were just because I liked them :)

Ok so we have:
Peppa-Pea Pirate Soup
Ethel-Seal The Poo Banana
Blondie
Ned
Football
Miley
Morag

Football's babies are:
Princess Bagel-Baby
Rhona the Mini Cow
Doughnut

Blondie's babies are:
Marilyn
Britney
Slincypig

Miley's baby is :
Zelah

In defence Blondie and Ned were already named... :-p

I currently have:

George (Partner named him)
Sam (Rescue, was already named)
Tilly (Like the name!)
Annie (Like the name!)

and my mum has Basil (Already named by the rescue)

Rainbow bridge pigs:

Doris (She looked like a little old lady)
Chester (He was a lovely golden colour and I liked the name)
Terry (He was all shades of chocolate colour!)
Willy (He was already named this unfortunately! I tried to change it to Timmy but Willy stuck and it suited him)
Frazzle (My only non human named pig, he looked like he had been electrocuted!)
Dillon (Liked the name)
Tom (Was named Tomato from the rescue but I prefer human names :p)

I also saved a couple pigs from being PTS who I named and passed onto a rescue who were later rehomed. I named them

Layla and Betsy :) I thought the names were pretty.

Blimey. Didn't realise I had had so many pigs in my life!

Current piggies are:

Amber, Mabel, Peaches, Dolly, Hattie, Martha, Olive and Hendricks.

Rainbow bridge:

Jackson, Brillo, Bailey and Logan.

You can see my Welsh guinea pig names in my signature. All names have a meaning that is suiting the piggy in question, either for its looks, character or background. If they come here with an established name, I try my best to come up with a similar sounding Welsh name.

Our first two piggies were two of my children's.
Sully and Duke both boys
Then I had two girls
Velvet Duchess (incorporated Dukes name) and Onyx Sullina (incorporated Sully and my mum who'd passed away her middle name Christina)

My guinea pigs have been called Lucy, Lilly, Ralph, Toby, Scruff and Pip! My new texel guinea pig is Ferbs :) I think any names are good that you can play around with! Pip who recently passed away was always pipples or pipsqueak! Ferbs is fondly named ferbywerby when I'm calling him!

My piggies are Hestia, Chaos and Athena, all named after Greek goddesses.

Chaos had 2 babies (Athena and her brother Apollo)

And I adopted Hermes (originally called Snap - he had 2 sisters Crackle and Pop) to be paired with Apollo:D

Current pigs are Alfie, Stella and Luna. Rainbow pigs are Stanley, Barty, Bella, Rebel, Lola and Angel. Current Buns are Ronnie and Mary, rainbow buns are Rusty and Betty. Rehomed bun was Ronnie's brother Reggie.
