I feed my guinea pigs Burgess Excel Guinea Pig Pellets because I think it is the best and it just happens to be what my boys were eating at the rescue until they came into my life

I also change between the mint flavour ones and the oregano-blackcurrant flavour ones to give my piggies variety, which they love.
When I am low on pellets and can't go to the nearest outdoor shop (Mole Avon, in case you know it) I get something else temporarily, like Tesco's own-brand guinea pig pellets, but then alternate between that and Burgess Excel when I can get more because I don't know how good the Tesco brand is, but I am guessing not that good, and I want my guinea pigs to have the right nutrition. Sometimes I give them some Gertie Guinea Pig food in a bowl alongside their pellets as a treat, but that should not be their main food because the guinea pigs do not eat all of it (mine often leave the wheat flakes, I think) and might struggle to get all of the nutrients they need. There are other brands like Science Selective and Marriage's, but I have not bought them so I do not know what they are like. Other brands do treats. Some of these brands are Rosewood, HayPigs, Piggie Parcels, Little One and Burgess Excel (again). Out of these brands, I have only tried Rosewood Naturals, and my piggies loved it.
Anyway, sorry for that monologue, but I hope some of it at least was useful
