I was wondering what the average weight is for a fully grown boar?

I'm not 100% sure on their age, but they're definaly over a year, if not 2. My friend picked up one of mine the other day and thought he was really heavy compared to her boar (who's not quite a year).

Cheers lovies :)

I've heard that it can range from around 900g - 1500g or more. My trio generally weigh between 1000g - 1200g. Hope this helps. :)

i beleive it is 900g to 1800grams but a bit more is less is perfectly healthy to.

my big boy weighs just under 1300g

how much does your's weigh?

hope it helps.

Two of my boars are around the 1100g mark but Sam is 1530g ( yes he is huge! ) They all get fed the same as I weigh all the food out so I guess he's just a larger pig

Oh dear! I have a feeling I'm over feeding mine then :(
All 3 weigh around 2kg :O

I only give them 2 handfuls (enough to just cover the bottom of their bowls) of nuggets a day, and then 4 different veggies a day, 2 in the morning, and 2 in the evening. They're not very active piggies, they never have been. When I get them out for a run they'll just stay in the same spot and not moove >.<

Any recomendations on how I can get their weight down.

I have 5 boys, four of them are age 2, one is 3. Their weights vary a lot, from Spike at 1.175kg up to George 1.645kg! George is very long so, although big, he is in proportion. His brother Gerry is big as well at 1.480kg.
Bob weighed in at 1.195kg last time and Hector 1.309kg
All of them are fed the same, Bob and Spike share, the rest are all bachelors.
