we are thinking bladder stones, shes just starting bleeding and is hunching and is squeaking, il let you all know how i get on with vet :'(
 
Oh no Kelly. Hope Cookie is ok. She is a bit young for bladder stones isn't she? Maybe it is a UTI. Fingers crossed it is nothing serious. I wish the vet could get to the bottom of what is troubling her, you must be out of your mind with worry. :-(

yeah Louise, Debbie just suggested uti :'( the vet said they checked this last time :-\
 
But these things can come on so quickly and the vet shouldn't rule it out. Have you thought about trying another vet?
 
i have tried 2 with piggies and they are useless and another one is even useless with dogs never mind piggies, hopefully they will listen to maryh vet :-\

surely between us all we can help her somehow :) :)
 
Besides antibiotics the only thing i know to do is to syringe water regularly to help flush the infection out :)

Unsweetened cranberry juice is supposed to help too :)

got back from vets and shes on baytril 0.1ml twice daily, could be a UTI buts shes going back on monday she also had metcam for pain :)

my vet wont give septin for piggies as it isnt licensed so will have to see how she goes with this :)

Really have everything crossed for her - hope she gets well soon. Such a worry when it's so non-specific and they just give antibiotics - sending hugs
