if i get prewashed salad mixes should I wash them again to make sure they are ok?

I always wash bagged prewashed salads.
Unfortunately, bagged salads can provide good conditions for bacteria and can cause food poisoning.

I dont wash them myself but I do always open the bag as soon as I buy it to let it breathe, and always use it within 24 hours of purchase- like @Piggies&buns says those sealed plastic bags can be a breeding ground for bacteria! Beansprouts I do wash very well as they are grown in standing water. And both things get a good sniff and any hint of anything off I feed them to my husband not my precious piggies

I just avoid salad... for me.... Other half doesn't rinse his butI generally wash all the piggies food before serving - as I make 3 servings at once and leave it in the fridge then pour boiling water over it before serving so its not too cold - and obvs not hot either!
