Washable bedding

I would love to see your hay pay for further ideas, if you have a picture :)

Below is the hay tray picture with Lara for size view. The size is about 30.5 cm X 35.5 cm so 12 inches X 14 inches. Only one piggy uses this. My Finn and Lara live in separate cages. They would go in their hay tray to pee and poo as though they were properly potty trained. It was like a miracle, such good piggies, bless them.

This is the actual hay pan new without hay and Lara. Size 20cm height, 31cm length, 36cm width, which is roughly 8 inches high, 12 inches length and 14 inches width.

Do you have anything underneath? Or is there just hay? :)
Thank you for your pictures :)

@PigglePuggle uses them with fleece bedding. Mine are outside so I can't give you any advice on the smell maybe she can.
The Inconti-pet washable mats are great and dont smell at all, we use them under fleece and change both twice a week.
Sorry it seems like I didn't include the URL of the pads I found. They are a little cheaper. What do you think? :)

I used to put puppy pee pad underneath to soak up the pee, but they really like digging around the hay pan, which caused the puppy pee pad to surface and set on top of hay. Currently, I just put some Kaytee paper bedding underneath to soak up the pee.

I wash their hay pan every 2 days and wiped with vinegar to kill the bacteria. I feel this is the easiest and most effective way of keeping their house clean and safe from germs.

Thank you very much, I will also try that :)
