Hello, I currently use fleece with towels. It's becoming a problem with 3 piggies and the smell is terrible. I have to change it every 3 days and it's getting too much.
Does anybody have any suggestion or link to other washable beddings?

I use actual fleece bedding for the piggies and have pee pads underneath. I wash it once a week since the smell isn't too horrible. I'm not sure if the waterproof fleece would help the stink, but I guess it's always worth a try!

To be honest, having to wash every 3-4 days is roughly normal with fleece bedding. Mine are outside in a shed but in the summer I use fleece in their hutch and I change it about every 4 days anyway.
I wonder whether it may be partly down to the towels. Towels don’t lock the moisture away, it’ll fester and just don’t dry quickly enough. Have you tried puppy pads instead, they actually absorb.

I use reusable puppy pads as well as disposable ones in my hutch. I am very impressed with the reusable ones which I use at the bottom on the hutch. On the upper level I use disposable puppy pads as they need to be cut creatively to fit around the ramp hole.

I use washable puppy pads that i just pop in the washing machine once a week. I have fleece on top that gets a quick poop cleaning two times a day. I also clean the fleece once a week.

I find the waterproof pee pads much smellier than the non waterproof ones as it contains the pee in a smaller space. Most of my pads are not waterproof so any liquid goes through them, through the fleece and into the puppy/incontinence pad I have underneath. I change the pads out every three days and do a full clean once a week, clearing the poos once or twice a day. I much prefer fleece to any other bedding.

Thank you for your answer, I think I'll try the washable puppy pads :)

Thank you that was very helpful, I read a lot that others change the bedding once a week so I wasn't sure if I was doing something wrong or no. But the smell is still there and I guess I'll try it with reusable puppy pads. Thank you :)

Thank you very much, I'll try that also :) do you have a link or a name for your reusable puppy pads? :)

Mine are diy. I got them from a friend- who put puppy pee mads in between two fleece blankets and sewed them shut. They work great. I wash them once a week or so. Hope that helps xx.

Does anybody have any suggestion or link to other washable beddings?

My piggies use their hay pans as their bathroom so about 80-90% of pee and poo ends up inside the hay pans. I do keep up with the washing of their hay pans about every 2 days and that is just the pans. Then, I fill the pans with hay again.
Fleece beddings and fleece pee pads are washed less frequently because there is little pee on them.

I actually don't smell anything inside my house, and both my piggies are indoor piggies.

I would love to see your hay pay for further ideas, if you have a picture :)

These are the ones I have

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Inconti-Pe...TF8&qid=1544719267&sr=8-1&keywords=Incontipet

Can you get them on Amazon in Slovenia?

I also found these on ebay and they are very cheap and they also have free delivery to Slovenia.
Since I don't have experience in washable pee pads, can you give me advice, if you think they look ok? :)
I would use them with fleece on top. Do you think it would smell less than with the towels? :)
