I was genuinely feeling bad for this little fictional puppet guinea pig the whole time But on a serious note, I really hope people weren't keeping piggies in cages THIS tiny back then Not to mention that wheel! This wasn't just a transport cage or something like that either, his cage was this size in the girl's bedroom as well. It was hard to watch these parts I like to assume it was just easier to have the piggy in the movie this way, but still!

I always quote this movie when I do my pigs nails "I have just been violated!"

It's a shame movies and TV shows always represent such awful husbandry, you can tell they do no research on the animals first.
