I went to a guinea pig specialist the other day for other reasons, but while going through their history and everything, she recommended an immune booster that she said they had at her old vet place. She searched it on amazon and looked through the ingredients, and didn't know how to pronounce most of them except for olive leaf and the main immune booster, echinacea. I know guinea pigs can have echinacea, but the other ingredients I'm not sure. Has anyone ever heard of Animal Essentials Super Immune? You can find it in US websites like chewy.com and you can also find it on amazon. The ingridients are olive leaf, echinacea herb and root, eleuthero herb, vegetable glycerin USP and distilled water. Anyone know of any of these are dangerous? I'll put a picture up so you can find it online easier. I'm mainly questioning the vegetable glycerin (what does USP mean btw?) and the eleuthero herb. Any advice on what I should do? I wouldn't ever feed them something I'm not 100% about.
