Hi all, I don't need a vet yet, but its best to be prepared.

Anyone know of an excellent vet, poficient in small animals based on the wirral?

thanks in advance

Jane

Hi Jane
There is definatly a shortage of good vets on the wirral, we used to go to Broadway unitl Sean Dunn moved to Wales >:(, but now we are trying Rob McNulty in Meols, I've taken both Maia and Herbal there (they were excellent with both even though Maia died) and have an appointment this afternoon with Dillon and Violet so will let you now how that goes. I also wouldnt go to the one you mentioned in the pm. We are based in Greasby and have tried pretty much all the vets in the area (i've even worked in a few!)
Will let you know how we get on later
Love

thanks for getting back to me, its a shame, it really shouldn't be so hard to find a good small animal vet! It makes no sense. 98)

Right just got back from the vets and he was really really good, my appoinment was at 3.20 I went in on time and didnt come out till 4.00, he did an ultrasound on Violet and prescribed antibiotics, all this for £14. I really cannot say how great he was with her and very patient with me as the over anxious owner ::)

His details are:
