It depends on where you get any guinea pigs from. If it is from a good rescue with a mandatory quarantine (a lost of good standard UK rescues can be found on the top bar), then they can be dated at the rescue and introduced immidiately with personal liking taken into account. With shop, breeder or private piggies there is no quarantine, so you may want to conduct your own. You can do this parallel to your girl's, but preferably in a different room. W have members from all over the world, so conditions and access to rescues can vary enormously.
