Urine stain. Is this blood or Something else?

Hi everyone!
My piggy has been suffering from bladder crystals and our vet’s been giving her medications for 6 days.
Today was the last day of the medication. However I still check and take photos of her urine spots.
I took the first picture about an hour ago, and the second one was just taken. They are the same stain.
I don’t understand why the color of her urine has changed. She may have urinated one more time at the same spot( but I didn’t see her doing that).
Is it blood? Or can medications cause something like that?

Any ideas?

Hiya, it's perfectly normal for urine to oxidise and become brown as it dries, so I wouldn't be concerned about this stain. Just keep an eye on your piggy and make sure she isn't straining or squeaking while peeing in the next few days. Blood is quite obvious in urine as it is very much red, not brown, so you'll definitely spot it if it's on white bedding.

Hi

Urine oxidises when in contact with air. It turns the more rusty in colour the longer it is exposed to it. That is nothing to worry about it.

What medication have you been given?

I don’t know the names of the medications. Our vet was giving them to her. It includes antibiotics, vitamins, some medicines that heal and prevent the erosion in the bladder and urinary tract, and medicines that help her poop easily.

She urinated while I was asleep, and this looks like blood, not oxidation.

I just talked with our Vet on the phone. She said surgery is inevitable. Her bladder needs to be washed.
However, they don't want to do it right away, because from this Saturday to next Tuesday is gonna be a Bayram (Religious holiday) and they will be closed. Therefore, if something goes wrong, they won't be able to help.
This situation looks serious and one more week looks very long. I don't know what to do

There have been some updates during the week.

Because of the Bayram, our vet was supposed to be closed, but they decided to open the clinic during the holiday, and then we set a date of Surgery on Sunday.

They took another x-ray on Sunday and they couldn't find any stones in her urinary system.
I asked, do we have another way to treat this problem? They suggested washing her bladder with a probe. They did it.

She urinated blood that night and lots of squeaking so I gave her Metacam (under vet control) but it didn't work for her. The next morning I called them and they said it's normal and give her another dose of Metacam so I did it. They said you can give her Metacam one dose a day if you realize that she is in pain.

There were no deposits in the urine in the first two days after the procedure. She seemed to be recovering. However; the deposit problem started again.
Also, she urinates like she has a urinary tract infection.

I really don't understand why she still hasn't recovered. It's been over a month I realized she has calcium deposits in her urine and it's been 25 days to take her vet. She doesn't look happy anymore .

We were supposed to go to the vet today, but they rescheduled our appointment to tomorrow morning. They may do it the probe thing again. Should I let them?
Should I find another vet?
What can I do to make her feel comfortable?

The catheter can be the right word instead of a probe. I guess .

Hello everyone!

I have some updates on JLo's condition.

Last night, my piggy started to urinate like water. When she stood in a T-Rex position, she urinated 2 or 3 times. She couldn't hold it.

This morning we had an appointment, and they wanted to wash her bladder with a catheter again, and after that, they took an x-ray because our vet said blood kept coming through the catheter. The X-ray showed that JLo's bladder wall has gotten thicker. Our vet didn't tell me the reason for this. I also asked about the T-Rex incident. She found it bizarre.

The next Tuesday, they will take a urine sample to send it to the lab.

Has anyone encountered this kind of problem? If so, how did you treat it?
Is bladder wall thickening a severe condition? Is there anything I should know in this process?


Background: She used to have a UTI about a year ago. We used Bactrim every 12 hours for 5 days and Metacam once a day for 2 days.
