Urgent / scab comes off from swollen feet

Small updates...

Last night she refused to take a painkiller, because of the bad taste of the antibiotics. She looked quite fine so I said ok let's see ...

I think she was in pain during the night so this morning she was not as fine as yesterday.
I gave her the painkiller this morning but she looked very very tired during the daytime today (I think because she could not recharge her batteries because of the pain). At the end of the afternoon, my daughter and I gave her a long and good hug and massages and since then (maybe because she could rest thanks to the painkiller, too), she looks better - she gets talkative, eats well and drinks well again.

As I have work to do, I cannot be with her all the time, and certainly she would be tired (both physically and psychologically) if I do so. 😅
I will take Moru to the vet tomorrow, as the vet will be on holiday for two weeks starting from this Saturday. I will update how it goes tomorrow.

Otherwise I have not changed the idea of adopting two friends for Moru. Maybe it would be difficult for them to live together in the same place, I will have to put a partition or something. However Moru is a very friendly pig and she would be delighted to have friends near her. They will be together for a couple of hours a day, if everything's OK, too. I do not know how long Moru can be with us, but I want to do everything I can do for her.

Update

I took Moru to the exotic vet last Friday and, the vet confirmed that the leg part was no longer swollen !
However her foot is still swollen and she needs to be on the antibiotics for another 15 days. Also he said that foot bath was very good idea.

I also re-talked about adoptiong the two piggies - well he agreed with enthusiasm this time!
Actually he seemed to be surprised about Moru's condition, as he was saying the antibiotics did not work for everybody.
Well in my case I modified the flooring and applied foot bath, thanks to you all, and I am sure that those played the role, too.

Hence I went to the rescue association last Saturday and we met two piggies.

We took some time to see how the three piggies went along with each other - actually they looked happy with each other and Moru really wanted to belong to the group, she tried very hard to walk and she moved a lot.
Of course we adopted them!

The two piggies were at the association since May and they are very healthy.
Moru looks very very happy to be near to them.

Anyway I allow two weeks of quarantine, meanwhile I will prepare everything and they can live together !

By the way though Moru eats lots of hay, mixed pelettes and veg, sometimes her poo is rather soft (not liquid, though). She does 'normal' poo, too.
She moves at her very best and she is in a good mood... she actually put some weight.
I guess it is because of the antibiotics (and possibly some stress, as her living condition has been a little modified as we adopted two piggies). I prefer to wait till our exotic vet comes back from his holiday in two weeks... but I am wondering if it is emergency. It is very hard to tell...

How exciting Moru has two new friends! I'm so glad her leg is better and she is feeling happier too! 😍
With regards to the soft poop I would reduce veggie and nugget intake and increase the amount of hay she eats and see if that helps.
