urgent help! Guinea pig blood all over

We are all still here for you if you want to chat and share your lovely memories or some photos when and if you're ready 💐

Hi all thank you for your kind replies. Unfortunately when the tests came back she had a tumour. The vet said she was not in too much pain but is now resting in a happier place with her brothers and sisters before her ❤️

BIG HUGS

I am very sorry. Guinea pigs don't grieve less deeply than humans although their survival instinct is generally kicking in faster.

Acute pining in a group is very rare and usually only the result of very close bond with an emotional dependency. But the group needs to re-establish itself in its territory in the coming two weeks; this is more noticeable in the wake of the loss of a strong leader.

Just wanted to say morning, how are the girls? 💐
Sorry for the delay in my response. Thank you all so much for your messages. They have an outdoor house connected to their run and today I’ve noticed they’ve been more timid when coming out to get treats or just exploring or being outside during the day. I am hoping they will start to calm themselves in a few more weeks, but I will get some pictures of the others when I feed them tomorrow 🥰. Also, I'm wondering if anyone can help, I’ve noticed on my older guinea pigs eye is looking a bit gunky. Is this anything to worry about? I had a Quick Look and it seemed to suggest there was nothing wrong just comes with old age. Thanks again :)

I am so sorry for your loss, but she had a wonderful life full of love. biggest hugs and until you see one another again wheeking to greet you on the bridge.
Hugs my dear i hope the rest of piggies are well and adjusting.
