I'm leaving work now and meant to be going straight to pick him up.... ?

Hi everyone,

Just letting you know Trixy is FINE ;D

I picked him up last night and the vet told me he was very good and had even been eating after the op. He had all his teeth trimmed and the bottom molars are the ones that caused him so many problems as they were very overgrown. They also noticed the top cheek teeth were very worn down so he had ovbiously been trying to eat the best he could but was having all these problems. He did not have any unlcerations so that was good. He doesnt requite the science recovery food and has been told to go straight onto freash veg, hay and his seed food mix as they advised me that this would be the best way forward for him. He is very week and it broke my heart to go to work and leave him but i did notice he is eating so thats good. He has a check up at the weekend so hopefully he will be back on track O0 lets hope so anyway!

I was so nervous and it turned out they tried to call me many times to reasure me he was ok but i gave them the wrong number and old one. Silly me! ::)

Thanks for all your kind words and I will keep you posted. My piggie will be getting alot fo TLC so hope all will be ok.

GIll xx

P.s just his mammy who needs to get here health sorted now as I'm feeling quite rotten....guess it was one less thing to worry about knowing trixy came through this op.

Hey sweetie I'm so pleased that it went well :smitten:

Might you consider a little boost of Science Recovery this evening just to help him along?
It sounds as though he is not as thin as Billie was after his op so has a fighting chance

Keep us updated

Soooooooooo pleased Trixy has come thru so well :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

Billies Mum-sorry I havent got back to you on your pms but i really appreaciate them! Actually I may gave him a little bit of science recovery as I dont think it will do him any harm. I'll see how he is eating tonight.

Thanks for the wishes guys, ill give lots of kisses to Trixy for you hehe! :smitten:

Hows all your days going? Hope your all ok.

Hi Gill, a little extra feed wont hurt after what he's been thru O0 check and make sure he's drinking too :)

Duke sends some manly brrrrrrrrr's to help Trixy get better too :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

Keep weighing him (daily) if you can to make sure that weight is going on etc

I'm sure that he will pull through

Thanks for the advice guys :)

GLYNIS....Tell Duke thanks for the Brrrr's lol

Have a good evening all xx

Hi Everyone,

hows your day going?

Trixy doing well, so far so good. He a good little boy and seems to be eating ok. I'm so pleased and just hope all will be ok. He still seems hesitant to open his mouth much and also to chew, but when i leave some food most of it is gone by the time i get back lol.

Gill

that is great news O0 guess his little mouth is still sore, in time he will get more confidence and will open his mouth to eat more things. hoping things go well at the check up on the weekend O0 hugs and healing vibes trixy :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

awww fantastic, its probably just getting used to eating again knowing there isnt going to be pain if he tries.. hopefully he will continue to get lots better :)
