and thanks for the special offer 4piggiepigs
can only see red and pink polka dots on the ebay page
would like them but is it possible to also get a green, blue, yellow and a purple polka dot pattern?
and how would i pay for them all?
so glad i found this option costs a fortune with the shavings plus its so messy!
thanks

sorry forgot to add all polka dot please for bottom and sides
also will weekly changing of the fleeces be ok for 2 piggies in each cage?

Liners will need washing and drying a few times before they last a week (start off 3 to 5 days) as you need to break down the waterproof barrier, but it does depend on how many pigs to size of cage, i have 8 pigs in a 2 level 2x5 and 2x4 c and c and mine last a week.

I can get all colours but green but i will try, if not do you have an alternative?

i can get butterfy

I'm thinking of moving to fleece when I get a new house for the pigs.
How do you wash it?
Basically dump it in the machine with some detergent or use trigene instead of using detergent?
Then how do you dry yours and how long do they take to dry?

I have a cage liner which wont be disimiliar to washing fleece blankets and recommend the following.

Get as much hair, bedding or hay off the fleece as possible before you place it in the machine. Either hoover it off, use a stiff brush or a dampened rubber glove works well to get hair off.

I pop my liner in the machine and then put it through a cold prewash with no detergent. This rinses all the pee out first. I then wash at 60c with a normal detergent and no fabric softner. Dont overload the machine and you can use a pet wash bag or old duvet if you are worried about hair etc getting into your machine.

My liner is virtually dry once it comes out the machine and doesnt take long to dry at all.

Once a week I pop a cup full of soda crystals into the drum of the machine and run a 95c wash. This cleans the machine

hi 4piggiepigs for some reson i dont hink you are receiveing my emails so here is my email [email protected], plus i cannot seem to use my computer at home for the forum so have had to come out to my library to do it today
not sure why its not working on my laptop very strange

I always used Megazorb/newspapers/hay in the piggy's old tray, then I changed to a C&C cage and started to use fleece which I have done for about 6 - 9 months. But I'm going back to using megazorb/hay - it might be a little bit more expensive (although I'm using the washing machine more and buying more washing powder) but it'll be less hassle and it's more natural for the piggies.
