Oh that pose is brilliant! :luv: I wrote Toast but meant Fudge!
I don't know why I wrote Toast, it could be to do with the fact I only got about 1 hours sleep

Her gut issues have been under control the past few days, its definately looking like an inflammatory gut issue (effectively IBS!). She is off to the vet for a checkover tonight as her breathing is "different" to normal.. But not indicative of a bad fluid flare, so I'm hoping she gets the all clear tonight (well, as clear as we can be for fudge and her problems!) No syringe feeds for a couple days either, shes maintaining her weight, but dont think i can expect her to gain back what she lost over this past blip- she is 7.5 years old afterall. Shes only lost around 40-50g all in, so it isnt too bad considering!

Shes my little princess and i love her dearly.. And she knows it!
 
It wasn't our usual vet we saw tonight, but she has seen fudge before and was happy that her heart sounds no different than normal for her and her lungs dont sound too bad either- she agreed the breathing issue isnt caused by fluid. She will consult the more specialist vet and will call me tomorrow, but since fudge is on the up and has plenty of energy and lovely pink gums, she isnt too concerned! :-)

Fudge is being treated for a URI after a horrendous night.. Chest xray showed no fluid. Feeling very worried...
 
Fudge can do it!
Hopefully she will pull through as she always has done.

So now Fudge is the boss, what would you expect from a queen. I love this piggy she's so cute.
She will be OK she always pulls though. 7.5 what an age, all down to your excellent care.:luv::luv:
 
Shes pretty much just sleeping all the time now.. Shes laying flat on her side with legs stretched out and her coat isnt fluffed up at all- Shes comfortable I'm sure.

Its just this racing breathing.. I know her chest is fluid free, so its either down to a URI or her heart is starting to give in, and its struggle is making everything race.

We are having plenty of cuddles and i played her song for her.. She gazed into the air at the chorus like she always does.. Which ofcourse made me blubber like a baby.

The thought of losing her soon is breaking my heart.
 
heres me in a total state.. And fudge is the one wiping away my tears!


And there was me thinking us humans where the strong ones!
