I asked my vet practice about the risks before having Caramel castrated. She said that all the vets at the practice had had some experience with castrating guinea pigs.

The op went really well and he was popcorning and eating away as soon as he got home!

Six weeks later I bonded him sith my two lovely sows. They are a very contented trio.
