Love it! MwahahaThey see my scraper - they hating! dem slugs flyyyyyyyyyyyy! over the fence!
I am v new to all this but was told by the rehoming centre that the tesco ones have a lower vit C content so to add an extra slice of pepper if using them... I stand to be corrected though!
Yeah I know! My pigs love them.I have been using them for quite a while now and can say that my piggies love them. A fraction of the cost of the branded ones and from what I can tell pretty much the same product if not the same actual shape.
@helen105281 is working on a nugget comparison project at the moment, so keep an eye out for when details appear on the forum.I currently feed burgess nuggets but my pigs leave white pee marks on their fleece so I give an egg cup and low calcium veg. It doesn't say on the burgess the calcium rate in % but I know they're quite low in comparison to other brands. They are getting a bit bored of burgess I think so interested in the tesco nuggets. How much more calcium do they have than burgess? Does anyone know?
Asda do the same pellets, for 2kgs, the bag is 60p cheaper than Tesco. So it works out at quite a saving if you go through a lot like me.
Just Tesco unfortunately. We do have other shops but they don't sell guinea pig food.Do you have WalMart - they own Asda.
