Temporary C&C base

Hello,
We are taking Pepper & Pringle up to my mums in a few weeks, I will be making them a temporary C&C set up and wondered if anyone has any advice on an alternative to correx for the base?
Ideally something that folds up as we live in a flat we don’t have space for large sheets hanging around!
P.s:They are on fleece/ bath mat bedding with puppy pads underneath.

A piece of plastic sheeting, a shower curtain, old plastic tablecloth
All things will obviously fold up for easy storage.
I got plastic sheeting off the roll from a garden centre (I use it to line my hutch, shed floor and have extra pieces for when I bring my piggies indoors into their c&c playpen)

Yes plastic sheeting of some kind would be good, we use the plastic mats that you can buy to go under babies high chairs under our indoor playpen, the mats are about 4ft x 2.5ft in size and I overlap them a bit to stop wee leaks onto my laminate flooring

Three layers on show here, works a treat no scrubbing correx clean. Hay escapes a little but my hobby is hoovering so no big deal

I have a piece of the plastic they put under floors as a damp proof layer in buildings (an off cut from a builder friend). Before I had that I used a large plastic bag like furniture comes wrapped in.

I have used a picnic rug (upside down, so the rubber backing is uppermost) with fleece etc on top ...

Thank you everyone for the suggestions! All super helpful, it will also double up in our new car under their carrier pig dad will not be happy if we get pee in the seat!
