Teddy

We went into pah one day and there he was. He spotted us and jumped off his wheel to come over and say hello! He was making a big show of saying hello ‘take me home, take me home’ so of course we had to bring him home with us
We quickly realised he was a very cheeky little man, being our only hammie to ever manage to kick his sand all over the entire room and chew straight through his chill and chew mats! He loved sprays and dig boxes and giving nose boops! He made us laugh every day with his cheeky antics! He had a respiratory infection when he first came home but bounced back quickly and stayed healthy until old age when unfortunately things started going wrong seemingly very quickly and all at once, we had just arranged laser therapy for him and was looking into trailing cartrophen (my vet couldn't find a dose for hammies but was willing to try and calculate one for us
) when his appetite took a sharp dip and it looked like his teeth were starting to overgrow as he was no longer interested in chewing or even burrowing so we made the difficult decision to help him over rainbow bridge where he could be free of pain
The lovely vets helped us take his pawprints, and got us some of his fur to treasure
His tiny pawprints leave the biggest hole in our hearts and we miss him all the world
Run free in the giant hamster wheel at rainbow Bridge little man until we meet again one day
