Bill & Ted
Forum Buddy
Thank you all for the support over the last difficult few months, we can’t wait for the 6 weeks to be up! I hope they all get on If they don’t it’s OH fault, he fell for them first but we are both quite besotted
Yes, many years ago, but not by choice! Pet shop sex mix up that ended in babies. I have not bonded before so this will be new to me. I am hoping to have Ted and his ladies side by side or end to end once new cage comes, it’s at local DPD branch so will probably get it tomorrow. Have to wait till 20/4/20 so they will have time to get used to each other and I will be bonding to strict forum guidelinesHave you ever had a mixed sex group/pair of pigs before?
Aw thanks, I do hope so, he loves our company but I know he is lonely and desperate to be with his own kind, he’s never been on his own ever, always been with Bill until last month. They are gorgeous, and so is Ted. Bless him, on that blanket ❤ Even though human companionship is nice for them, it really does show how irreplaceable a friend of their own species is. I’m sure they’ll got along lovely, I also think Ted will be so ready for the companionship by then that he won’t have a complaint in him upon meeting the girls
It’s definitely always sad to see them on their own. I know that when Honey died and Little was alone, it was like he had no motivation to do anything really since Guinea pigs have the whole ‘I want what you have’ mentality, especially the dominant pig. Honey loved chewing willow sticks and wasn’t interested in cardboard tubes and Little was exactly the same. Then Peanut loved cardboard tubes and wasn’t interested in willow sticks, and so then funnily enough, Little was the same and never touched the sticks ever again It shows that they form their opinions around each other - if there’s no competition for something then there’s no point in it! All you can do is what you’re doing, which is giving him all the attention he wants.Aw thanks, I do hope so, he loves our company but I know he is lonely and desperate to be with his own kind, he’s never been on his own ever, always been with Bill until last month.
I remember your announcement, I was so shocked Bill passed away too. They were such a handsome couple. Ted has lost none of his gorgeous ness.Yes, many years ago, but not by choice! I have had Bill and Ted for 5 years,(boar pair) but sadly Bill died last month
I’m definitely hoping the girls will encourage Ted to try and eat more hay! he does struggle, but I think you are right, they do copy each other. Strangely Ted has taken to red pepper, something he would never touch before Bill died. Bill had a far broader range of foods and would try new things whereas Ted not so.It’s definitely always sad to see them on their own. Even though Ted is still on his own, he’ll know now that friends are on the way. Their scent has already soothed him, it will be perking him up to know that companionship is just around the corner
A little bit more eye candy!

Gosh yes she does look like Ginger! Even her markings are the same!Aah so gorgeous I hadn’t noticed how much Ginger looks like my old piggy Twitch (baby of our pregnant petshop pig Honey when I was a teenager), with her little white splodge!
