subscription box?

You may have something different available in the US.

I get my hay on subscription but there is a members of this forum who runs a business selling fantastic forages. That’s not subscription though so I just buy as and when

Oh hay subscription 🤦🏻‍♀️. Sorry I was being dim. I use haybox but just buy when I get low. 👍🏻

Ive seen one company ad on facebook for treat/forage type UK subscription box so the OP may mean that kind of thing rather than hay but they may be more common in the US?

I'm curious what OP means. I'm not familiar with any mainstream company created guinea pig subscription boxes, but maybe I've just not heard of them before. I know they exist for other pets like cats and dogs, but not sure whether any companies make one specifically for guinea pigs.

I wondered what the OP meant, as well. I do get my guinea pig hay on subscription, but that is all.

I have seen a few adverts for subscription boxes. From what I've seen I don't think they are good value. I wouldn't give my guinea pigs half the things that are in them, just because it says it's safe for guinea pigs it doesn't mean it is. Mine wouldn't use the 'toys', they'd just look at me as if to say "what are we supposed to do with that". I do have a subscription with hay box for their meadow hay however. I sometimes buy mine a bag of treat hay with some herbs or similar mixed in but other than that a small slice of carrot or other food they like but don't get often is a treat.

:agr:
At various times we have had both a rabbit and guinea pig subscription box, and in all honestly neither were worth the money.
A lot of the toys were questionable or of absolutely no interest to the animals they were intended for, and the snacks and treats were less popular than fresh grass or forage. The rabbit one was slightly better value, as in my experience rabbits will engage more with toys than guinea pigs.

I think the fact that they are often themed and look nice is more appealing to the owners than the animals themselves.

Like with toddlers, most of the time the best part was playing with the box!
