Stroppy Pigs

:)) :))
Piggy ASBO needed

The upturned igloo made me laugh we had a piggy Treacle that as soon as we put the pigloo in would flip it then wee in it.....

They do make me laugh at times

They are such characters. Maybe they took the ig'loo' part literally.
I put a cuddle sack in each of their igloos so they can get inside and snuggle, but nope, they were not impressed with this idea. Trampled the sacks then weed all over them.

:) yes i reckon so!

Trampled the sacks and wee'd on them! ha ha!

I have put snuggle safes in the hutch under various snugglies and snuggle sacks in vague hope that my piggies will keep them on the snugglesafes to keep warm in the cold weather. What do I find in the morning? The snugglesafes are in the same place but the snugglies and snugglesacks have been moved off of them! I sometimes wonder why I bother!:hb:

They like to do a bit of their own furniture arranging.
I was debating whether or not to get a couple of snugglesafes but I'm note sure I'll bother as they seem to just like laying on top of the fleece liners under their igloos. The extra effort seems to be lost on them.
They are my fave little creatures. Even tho they 'belong' to my daughters I'm thinking about getting more even once my children are all grown up. They are so sweet and cheeky.

Are your piggies inside or outside? Mine are outside piggies as I can't have them inside and so snugglesafes this time of year are essential. They have so much hay in the hutch it is difficult for me to find all five! They also have the aforementioned snugglesafes, fur lined tunnels, snuggle sacks and what my son likes to call snuggly shoes! I swap the tunnels etc around for different stuff every few days so they get some stimulation if it is too cold for them to go in the run (which it is at the mo).

Mine have this new habit of picking up pieces of food from their bowl and dropping it down their ramp. Then they run down and eat the little pile they've made! They all have completely different personalities, it's so weird and wonderful. :))

Mine are indoors but I worry about the temp dropping when the heating gets turned down.
My previous pigs were outdoor although they did get put into the shed at night/cold weather and we plugged in a heat lamp. I think it's a lot less messy to keep them outside but our garden is not suitable to keep them out all the time as we dont have any shelter or storage.
Aww bless 'snuggly shoes'

Aw that's their little game they have created.
Yeah they do all have different characters. One of ours is a shoulder pig and a clothes nibbler and the other is a chill lap pig.

My boys love to flip things over but Podrick takes it to a whole new level. As soon as a cardboard box is put in he immediately flips it over!

I've had to tie them to the cage! He is a little monster! Example attached with Mr. Butter wouldn't melt himself, haha.

Aww bless so cute. Although I had to look twice I though he had a parasitic puppy twin on his back for a min then XD

My two like to poo and pee in their food bowls, I don't mind the poo because I can pick that out but sometimes they pee in their pellet bowl and if I've been out all day I come home to a dry mushed up mess that has set like glue and it is really hard to scrape out of their bowl and two little piggies squawking at me for pellets because they pee'd in their pellet bowl and are hungry for more. Not real smart girls. They have a couple of times moved their plastic hideys (which they don't have anymore) with the entrance up against the cage wall and trapped themselves inside and squealed the house down to be freed and when I free the little rat bag I get a nasty look like it was me who trapped her in there. They are really cute but sometimes not so smart.

I made loads of fleece tunnels and snuggle sacks, and they just sit on top of them and squash them into pads. Waste of time, so now I just make pads.

My lot sometimes snuggle down into their snuggle sacks and sometimes sit on top. I find the double ones are more popular than the single one

I heard banging in my bedroom yesterday and when I went to investigate, Comet was knocking a ceramic bowl into the side of a carrot cottage....because Blitzen was in it and nobody wanted to share :)) I've also found them both squeezed into a smaller tunnel to the extent that neither of them could really move, because they both wanted the tunnel and wouldn't share. There was another, larger tunnel next to it that they could both fit in. They just ignored it entirely.
