Static lice just on the belly?

I noticed some flecks that look like static lice, but only on the belly of my girl. They aren't on her back at all. Could it just be dirt or do they primarily go for the underside?

Could you please take a photo and upload it via the Attach Files button by your post when you write it.

Hay mites (the name static lice is now outdated) fix their egg cases to hairs in the underlayer of the coat where they aren't as easy to spot, usually initially around the bum end because hay mites (which are invisible) live off the debris.

When you run your fingers over single hairs that may be affected, the eggcases feel like minuscule beads on a very thin string.
