Came home last night after being out all day visiting family to find one of my two boars has been injured with a split lip
The wound looks painful with dried blood around it but touch wood he's still eating, drinking and being his normal self really. He obviously got quite fidgety when I tried to bathe the wound but showed no sign on being in major pain (although I know they do their best to hide this!)
We are going for a night away tomorrow and my sister is coming to "pigsit"... Just wondering if anyone thinks a trip to the vet just in case is needed? And what's the best thing to do now with the wound? Has anyone had this happen before?
