"Split" lip

Riffy seems to have a "split" lip in one corner. I have heard this is caused by apple (Riffy loves apple).I remember Dr had this too once. I am treating it with Gorgeous Guineas antiseptic cream. Any other ideas?
 
What you are doing sounds fine Lucinda. I hav used Cymex lip balm in the past but the gorgeous guineas cream should be fine.

Make sure her apple is chopped up very small to avoid her having problems in the future.
 
When my lot have apple, it is chopped up then soaked in water for a while. Takes some of the acidity (sp?) away.
 
a little's better than none at all :).. In the past I've tried Cymex and Blistex and it's healed pretty quick. Haven't used the GG one.
