Sperm Rods & Penile Spikes

Hello- when I was washing my boars bits today there was something in there that looked like a sperm rod (have seen 2 before) but I didn't want to pull it out in case it was a spike that I have heard about? It was hard to see one handed anyway as I was holding him but it reminded me of a bean sprout! I am worrying in case it was a piece of hay stuck right up there as he is in alot of pain when urinating but on anti biotics for ulcers on his penis. They do not seem to be helping but the vet said that the ulcers could have been caused by a bit of straw stuck up there. If this was it then I need to get it out but I do not want to in case it is a spike! Argh so complicated!

Penis prongs/spikes are quite small. Sperm rods often look like small beansprouts, although I'd not thought of that until now!

Christian gets the occasional sperm rod as he has arthritis in his back and can't clear them for himself. When his back was really bad and he could hardly move this is the HUGE one I had to remove VERY CAREFULLY I might add!

Hi Ok thanks haha sorry! This was long but I left it there, when I cleaned him the next day I couldnt find it so hopefully it came out on its own. Graham the guinea pig is indeed a medical mystery. He has ulcers all over his willy. No vet or forum I ask have ever seen this. He squeals in pain when he is weeing. It does seem less frequent now so hoping the Baytril is eventually working but it really does not look good down there.
