Soft Poops

Another update, he had good shaped poops since yesterday but today they have gotten to be more clumped up/smushed together darker poops again, not diarrhea just soft & mushy poops. He is feeling more bloated today so I’ve been massaging him, but other than that hes eating and drinking well. Let me know if theres anything else I should be doing please!

Also he is on the benebac every other day of his antibiotics, I gave my other 2 piggies one dose because it says “one dose a week for maintenance”, and I’m hoping it helps them with their remaining gut issues/bloat. The cesapride won’t be here till Tuesday so just waiting till then right now, fingers crossed no more issues till then!
 
You are doing all you can for him at the moment.

I don’t know how the benebac dosage works. It’s not a commonly used probiotic here. The probiotics we commonly use here are given two or three times a day every day.

Yeah thats what threw me off, but I reread this one multiple times and couldn’t find anything other than do it every other day of antibiotics so I’m just sticking to that for now.

His poops have gotten softer again reflecting how they were they other day, I wouldn’t say diarrhea because its not liquid its just very mushy poop with little to no shape. His personality is on and off but he is still eating and drinking, I’m massaging him right now and giving him some critical care too because I want to make sure he is getting everything he needs as well as the water mixed in to help hydrate him. My mom is going to get up in 3ish hours from now to massage him then too so he doesn’t go too long without a massage.
 
he is having pretty soft poops right now they come out in big then hold shape unless he steps on them and stuff i’m worried about him though i hate that that medicine is taking so long to get here

I attached a photo of what they look like, he is being quieter right now but he is still eating too. About to massage him again.
