I've just received my order and my microwave has a low medium and high power setting.
They say to microwave on full power which I'm assuming would be high.
I just want to double check I'm doing it right before I put them in the microwave, I don't want to overheat it.

And do you put it in the micro with the cover on or off?

Thanks :)

Soz don't know the answer. Just wanted to say eeep what a lovely guineapig in your avatar.

i always heat mine with the covers on, i haven't had a problem yet. High setting should be ok. If you're not sure heat the snugglesafe for a couple of minutes less than instructed and see how warm it gets.

Full power means high power. I have no idea whether there's a right or wrong answer about the cover. However since you can buy them without covers I'm guessing you can microwave it without the cover.

I have always done mine on high power and never had a problem. You can microwave them with or without the covers but I would advise to do them with as they are very hot when they come out of the microwave without covers. I slightly burnt my hand doing them in my Dads microwave without covers. I had to do them without at his house as I saw his face when I was going to put the dirty covers into his clean microwave!

I heat mine on high for 6 minutes with a 800w microwave.

The pad doesn't seem to be that hot, and it's stone cold after 6 hours.

I normally heat for 10 minutes with a 750w microwave. They stay warm for about 8 hours but after 6 they are really quite cool.

I followed the instructions, but I will try for that time tonight. I will be getting a second heat pad, but the girls take turns between the pad and a snuggle pouch.

Yes I followed the instructions the first few times but they just didn't feel warm enough to me so I extended the time until it felt warm enough.
