New Born Pup
I've noticed my guinea pigs sneeze quote a lot daily. I read up to 4 times a day is normal... they both sneeze more than this. Other than sneezing they are both normal, happy and eating. Should I he worried?
I'm aware of them being sensitive to smells. All their bedding is washed in seventh generation washing detergent and I have no candles or scented stuff. I find they do do it more when I put their hay in. How would a vet check for anything? As I say, other than that there are no other symptoms and both seem happy and healthy
7th generation is non biological, unscented and for sensitive skins. Totally hypoallergenic so nothing that should irritate. I've changed hays to excel, they were sneezing with the other hay too. They both seem OK, I shall keep an eye on them. I noticed it more when fresh hay has been put in so I'm thinking it could be dustA vet checks whether the airways are free.
Would you consider trying a different hay brand and just plain non-bio powder?
Some piggies are a lot more sensitive than the majority.
