smelly kale

i got some kale reduced in morrisons but when i opened the bag the smell was totally overpowering ? ..is this normal for kale or had it went off

Uncooked Kale doesn't really smell so I would imagine it had gone off. I wouldn't chance it.

It should just smell like cabbage really. If it's really pungent, chuck it.

I got 2 lettuces for 2p each last night in Tesco O0

deffinetly sounds like it has gone off chuck it on the compost
