I don’t want to risk the non dominant not having his own space.Congrats on your new boys. They're both gorgeous.
Good on you for upping their accommodation size right from the start!
I have a question, so they are in the new enclosure. Everything has been great. I snuggled them on the way in. It seems that the rumble strutting is picking back up (only the littlest one) and humping (also the little guy) they were walking around the cage munching and then the littlest guy went over to the biggger one seemingly to bum sniff and they got into it kind of. It was one big jump by the both of them, potentially a bite but I don’t see any blood or hair missing, but there was one squeak high pitched and they separated. Is that normal? Do I need to separate? It’s all about character, not physical size!
That is why it’s always a risk when you just buy piggies as you don’t know about their character!
I’m glad all seems to be going well!

It’s a pretty large setup. It’s 75 long but only 20 wideMoving to the new cage will cause a new round of dominance. That is normal, but a potential bite and potential fight is of concern.
Please keep a close eye on them. Is there is a fight then they would need to be separated.
Please ensure all hides have two exits. You don’t want anywhere one pig can get trapped inside anything.
Make sure there is two of everything - so you will need another water bottle.
Do also check the measurements of their cage.
You want it to be 180x60cm which is 70x24 inches.
The addition Fel is probably the chillest Guinea I have ever seen lolPerfect, well done. Can't wait to see pictures
Thanks! I was wondering how long that tunnel would last.I had that same Timothy tunnel. When my boy chewed it jagged he got a wound on his scrotum and had to be hospitalized, so keep an eye on it.
When your boys have settled, don't forget the weekly health check which is in one of the guides
