Sigh.

If you are worried just pop each piggy into a carrier with a clean puppy pad and wait until they pee. It's not normally more than a few minutes.

Although remember that feeding beetroot does cause discoloured urine. It gave me such a fright once until I remembered they had bistro salad the previous evening.🤣

I've had those moments where there's been red staining on the fleece or woodshavings - that few seconds of panic before remembering they had some red pepper recently :))
It's been 24 hours and without using a puppy pad or whatever I can't say for definite but I'm fairly certain there's been no repeats of the urine problem. I think it really was just the paper, with it being the first lot they had for a while, and I'm just paranoid because they're off their fresh food (and I'm almost out of Coke, which is very much not helping lol).

I wish I had some advice, but you’re a much more seasoned piggy slave than I am. Just checking in to say I hope they are ok 👍

Their shrieks at me keep saying they probably are, lol. I just don't like it when the issue is vague, non-specific. It's easier when you can go, "Ah yeah there's a lump there" or "looks like they're struggling to eat". It's not necessarily better, an obvious issue is usually a more dangerous one, but still.

Ano - when I had my pair of bunnies I was always looking at their poo! Is it as big as it was yesterday? Is there enough of a golden hue about it, is it too dark? Am I finding too many ceotroph thingumygigs that they usually eat? String poo, not enough poo, wet poo - are their butts clean?! It’s a good job we don’t put as much consideration into our own! Well, I’m sure there are some health fanatics who do!
