popped this link in here to let you see my new set up, which is a great alternative to a big shed if you want something smaller, and cosy too.

Wow, your set up is great, Id never have thought of a bike shed. I'm doing up an existing shed at the moment and have a dog kennel with run. When the shed is finished I and going to connect the two with the pipe like you have. Did your little piggies take to using it ok?

they love the runaround system - as soon as I attach it they whizz up and down - am going to invest in more pipes next spring

Thanks for your reply, that's so good to know. We have bought some but are yet to fit it and I was worried they wouldn't use it.
