Say Hello To My New Addition! Is My Old Guinea Pig Rumble Strutting?

I'm glad it is al ok, I have two boys myself, they don't get on the best in the world, they rumble every day and teeth chatter quiet often, but I have just got used to it, as they have NEVER drawn blood and they are fine sleeping near each other, (apart from when they were first introduced and put in the cage they sat at opposite ends staring at each other haha) I am sure within time all will calm down for u!

Ah I hope so! Their cage is in my room so all I heard last night was them chasing each other, lots of rumbling and squeaking so I didn't get a lot of sleep and neither did they by the sounds of things! But this morning they've been doing it alot less! I suppose they're knackered out, oscars rumbling less and they're both napping seperately? So it seems promising! Xx

I know the feeling my boys are also in my room and I think Milo wakes Keiko up and then he starts rumbling like a grumpy old man! My boys most of the time prefer to sleep in their separate houses but often cuddle during floor time or if they get scared (whenever I sneeze it terrifies them the poor things) they jump on my lap and cuddle until they feel safe again

Aww! Yeah, all night Oscar was grumbling away! But jasper keeps squeaking back at him now as if to say go away I'm trying to sleep and he backs off! Haha :) and aww Oscar is the same! Today my boyfriend sneezed and he was in his strawberry bed and he fell off the bed in fright poor thing! Don't worry he's fine he just was scared xx
 
The noise does calm down the first week is always the worst/loudest I believe. Jasper will be pretty vocal as they figure out exactly how far Jasper will allow Oscar to push his dominance. A loud high pitched squeak (that we may think is pain) is actually submission from your new boy. Happy to hear they're settling in well :)

Thank you! And jasper is doing a lot of high pitched squeaks it seems! Thank you for all your advice :) I was really distressed last night thinking they weren't going to get along I'm glad they're going alright! :) xx
 
No problem I recently had to do the exact same thing so I completely understand! Even now that Milo is getting more confident he and Keiko have some scary little nose jabbing episodes that make me think they won't get along! But then they cuddle right after or my dominant boy starts grumbling and breaks out into fits of popcorn!

Ahaha oh I love it when they popcorn! They've both been popcorning too afterwards so it's always a good sign :) it is scary but there's been no fights just chasing and grumbles!
 
Just an update for everyone! My piggys are getting on great, they follow each other everywhere and squeak like mad if I seperate them! So happy and thanks for everyone's help and reassurance!
