We grow runner beans in the garden.

Can the piggies eat these and if yes how should I serve them?

Thanks,
Suzie x

I tried these on mine yesterday.I just cut the beans into big pieces.None of them were overly interested in them but they had eaten them by the morning...most of them.

my mums neighbours gave her a load of home grown runner beans, so she gave me some for the piggies, and they absolutely love them! i tried then on just one first, which they hastily chomped down then squeaked for more!

but not all piggies like the same stuff so maybe do what i did and try them with one? just cut them into big pieces like mum said above ^

I am sure I have seen somewhere that the actual beans are not good for piggies

i checked the veggy list on here, and they are listed as ok. i checked before i gave them

I've just given John Anderson some and he loved them!

Will be able to say in the morning if Bob liked them or not.

Mine didnt like them much - But its probably my fussy lot ::)

bob and munchie are going through a funny phase, theyve decided that they no longer like all their favourite foods, and want other foods instead. so now they no longer love corn on the cob, and pepper, and instead love celary, and runner beans lol

although the runner beans are home grown not shop bought, that could have something to do with it, as they pick out all the home grown food i was given first before eating the rest
